Firearms are not tools but a tool. Youth will learn how to safely handle, assemble, disassemble a firearm and learn the fundamentals of shooting. Additionally, under Maryland Castle Doctrine in case of a home invasion that the firearm in that house can be used by a youth in case of imminent or serious bodily harm, injury, and death.
