  • DE Permit to Purchase Class

    The Delaware State Police Permit to Purchase Section is responsible for the investigation of applications for, and the issuance of, handgun qualified purchaser permits. To purchase a handgun in Delaware, the purchaser must be a Delaware resident and have a valid handgun qualified purchaser permit. To obtain a handgun qualified purchaser permit, applicants must: (1) complete a firearms training course with a certified instructor, (2) obtain fingerprints by appointment with IdentoGO, (3) pass a background check. A person who holds a valid license to carry a concealed deadly weapon (CCDW) issued by the Superior Court of Delaware under 11 Del. C. § 1441 is not required to apply for a handgun qualified purchaser permit before purchasing a handgun.

    Participants will engage in in-depth, interactive, hands-on training focused on real-world application. Carrying a firearm is both a privilege and a responsibility—this course ensures you are prepared for both.   • MD CCW and AZ CCW (2 Day Class)

    MGFA, LLC provides initial training for individuals who already possess their MDHQL seeking their MD Wear and Carry Permit and Arizona non-resident CCW, which covers 37 states. Hearing, Eye Protection, Firearm, and Ammunition are included in the cost. The non-refundable deposit fee MUST be paid to Book this class. Students also have the option of paying in full. The course must be paid in full the day before instruction. This is a two-day course that makes up the 16 hours!!!

  • Youth Firearm Safety Training

    Unfortunately there have been far too many tragic accidents concerning youth and firearms. This often can be mitigated through youth understanding the importance and seriousness of firearms. Firearms are not tools but a tool. Youth will learn how to safely handle, assemble, disassemble a firearm and learn the fundamentals of shooting. Additionally, under Maryland Castle Doctrine in case of a home invasion that the firearm in that house can be used by a youth in case of imminent or serious bodily harm, injury, and death. At MGFA we are changing the culture mindset of youth and firearms into something constructive and productive.

  • MD HQL and MD CCW Package Deal (2 Days)

    MGFA, LLC provides the required instruction for individuals needing their MD HQL and seeking their MD CCW. The class will cover MD firearm laws, firearm safety, nomenclature, firearm drills, CCW tactics, MD firearm laws, and other fields. The class cost covers instruction, firearm, range time, ammunition, hearing and eye protection for live fire at the range at the end of classroom instruction. To reserve your slot. You MUST pay the deposit, or you have the option of paying in full. The class must be paid in full the day before instruction. Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email. This is a two day course comprised that makes up the 16 hours !!! ​​​​A Maryland resident must possess a valid Handgun Qualification License (HQL) or qualify for an HQL exemption before they may purchase, rent, or receive a handgun. Within 3 years prior to the submission of an HQL application, an applicant must demonstrate a satisfactory completion of a Firearms Safety Training Course instructed by a Qualified Handgun Instructor. Any person who wishes to legally wear, carry or transport a handgun in Maryland must possess and maintain on your person a valid Maryland Handgun Wear and Carry Permit (handgun permit) issued by the Maryland Department of State Police.​ Submission of the Wear and Carry Permit application does not authorize you to wear, carry, or transport a handgun. MD CCW Requirements - Unless exempt from the training requirement, within 2 years prior to the submission of a Wear and Carry Permit application, an applicant must successfully complete the Maryland State Police approved 16 hour Firearms Safety Training Course provided by a Qualified Handgun Instructor. The applicant will be required to upload a completed and signed MSP 29-14 Certified Qualification Score Sheet​ to the documents section of the Wear and Carry Permit Application in the Licensing Portal.​
